Ski Trip 2009

We will head to Winterplace in West Virginia.  We'll leave Thursday evening (no public school on Friday).  We will ski all day Friday and Saturday, then return on Sunday.  We will head there with the youth from 1st Baptist Church.  As time gets closer, we will have a more detailed schedule available.

Skiing:

We will ski at Winterplace Ski Resort in West Virginia.  The slopes are open from 9AM-10PM on Friday and Saturday.  If you are wanting to go tubing, the tubes are open from 1PM-10PM on Friday and 9AM-10PM on Saturday.

How Many Can Go?:

We have 20 spots available for both youth and adult chaperones.  You need to turn in your permission slip and deposit to reserve your spot.  If we run out of spots then we will put you on the waiting list in case a spot opens up.

Accommodations:

We will stay at the Sleep Inn in Princeton, WV.  It has interior facing rooms, a small indoor pool, and continental breakfast.

Cost Breakdown:

$200 includes three nights lodging, a lunch voucher for food and drink on Friday and Saturday, a two day lift ticket and ski rental for both days.  Some people may have their own equipment, want different equipment or want to go tubing instead of or in addition to skiing.  So here is the breakdown of additions and subtractions of what is included.

• Tubing Opens at 1PM on Friday and 9PM on Saturday
• Two-hour tubing ticket ($12)
• Four-hour tubing ticket ($23)
• Tubing 1PM-10PM on Friday ($32)
• Tubing 9AM-10PM on Saturday ($35)
